Media: Sculptural Copper Textile
Becki’s edgy work uses timeless tools of imagination, heat and origami to manipulate the organic qualities of copper textile. Creating its own backdrop of shadow and light, the work spreads copper’s iridescent color palette to communicate themes and emotions of warmth and light in artwork that converts space into place.

Media: Acrylic Paint
Laura’s paintings are rarely what you see on the surface leaving many concepts to the audience’s imagination. She is especially sensitive to colors that float and expand yet are calculated allowing a sense of grounded escape for both the artist and the viewer.

Stephanie Robertson
May 27, 2008 – September 2, 2008

Media: Fabric
Stephanie's work is about being a woman: the need to nurture, beauty, power, intuition, gentleness, sorrow, anger, love- aspects of herself she embraces and acknowledges, sometimes with fear, but more often with great joy. And, since moving to Indiana, she has experienced a connection to the endless small rolling hills that remind her of the marshes she loves in the Low-country in South Carolina. The land holds mystery, pattern and color. The Low-country undulating shapes are reminiscent of the human figure, and this has become one of her primary focuses: the integration of landscape with her love of figure drawing.
